Install Silotree Pro, the add-on in every paid plan
Silotree Pro is a second plugin that sits beside the free one and adds the tools that save hours in wp-admin. It comes with Solo, Studio and Agency at no extra cost, and it uses your site’s existing connection, so there is no licence key.
- A paid plan: Solo, Studio or Agency. Pro is included in each, at no extra cost, see plans and limits.
- The free Silotree plugin installed, active and connected to your account. Pro adds to it and can’t run without it.
- A WordPress administrator, so you can upload plugins.
What Pro adds inside WordPress:
- Keyword rules, with your Yoast or Rank Math focus keywords imported as rules.
- Links that follow a post when its address changes, so links to it don’t end in a redirect.
- Inbound links for many orphan posts at once, from Reports, as one batch.
- Broken links fixed in batches inside wp-admin.
- Add all in the publish prompt, instead of adding older posts’ links one at a time.
Every Pro change goes through the same path as the free plugin’s: a revision first, the post read back, and an entry in Silotree → Undo.
Steps
Check the free plugin is installed and connected
In WordPress, Plugins should list Silotree as active. If it doesn’t, see install the plugin. If the site isn’t connected yet, see pair the plugin. Pro uses that connection, so there is no licence key to enter.
Download Silotree Pro from Settings → Plan & billing
In Silotree, open Settings and scroll to Plan & billing. On a paid plan, press Download Silotree Pro to save the zip. Pro is not on WordPress.org; this is the only place to get it.
Upload it in WordPress and activate it
In WordPress, go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, choose the zip, press Install Now, then Activate.
Find the new tools under Silotree
The new tools appear in the Silotree menu and on the screens you already use: keyword rules under Silotree → Link rules, bulk actions on Reports and Broken links, and Add all in the publish prompt.
What you should see
Plugins lists both Silotree and Silotree Pro as active. Later versions of Pro arrive as ordinary plugin updates from silotree.io.
If it doesn’t work
- There is no Download Silotree Pro button
The button is only on paid plans. To move to one, see upgrade or change your plan.
- Pro says the site isn’t on a paid plan
Pro asks Silotree about the site through the free plugin’s connection. Check the connection on Silotree → Settings, and connect again if it fails, see the plugin can’t reach Silotree.
Pro stops making new links: keyword rules, bulk links and links that follow a moved post stop running. Every link it wrote stays in your posts as an ordinary link, and undo keeps working, in the free plugin too. Rules you saved stay in your database, ready if you come back. See cancel your plan.
Questions
What does Silotree Pro add?

Pro stops making new links: keyword rules, bulk links and links that follow a moved post stop running. Every link it wrote stays in your posts, and undo keeps working, in the free plugin too.
