Silotree vs Link Whisper
The closest comparison there is. Both suggest internal links and insert them; the difference is whether the tool holds an opinion about the shape of your site.
What Silotree is for: more readers from posts you already wrote — in about ten minutes a week.

One difference matters more than the rest of the table.
How Link Whisper works
Link Whisper reads your text, suggests relevant targets and inserts them in bulk, with auto-link rules, topic clustering and Search Console keyword data in Premium. It reports links in and out of each page, orphaned posts and broken links.
How Silotree works
Silotree starts from the posts nothing links to and suggests links from posts you already wrote, best first — up to five a week by email, each one wrapping words already in the sentence. Underneath, it knows which posts belong together and which page leads each topic, so it can also say when a link will not help.
The links Link Whisper inserted are ordinary links in your posts, so they stay where they are when you deactivate it. Silotree only adds: it counts those links as already there, never removes them, and undo takes out only the links Silotree wrote.

Your site is not in English
Pulling a usable anchor out of a sentence is language-specific work rather than a setting, and we have only done it for English. Link Whisper works today in yours.
You build pages with Divi or Beaver Builder
We refuse to write into that markup because we cannot guarantee putting it back afterwards. Refusing is honest and it is still a no.
You want the whole archive linked in one sitting
Link Whisper is built around bulk passes over every post. Silotree is built around a few good links a week, best first. If you would rather do it all in an afternoon, theirs fits that better.
Before you decide
Is Silotree a Link Whisper alternative?
For finding and inserting internal links, yes. The difference is emphasis: Silotree keeps one model of your topics and the page that leads each one, ranks every link by the clicks it should earn, and only ever wraps words already in the sentence.
Can I use both?
You can, though they may disagree about which links matter first: Silotree ranks links by where your site's topics and search data say they will help, rather than by relevance and keywords alone.
Will either tool damage my posts?
Every change is one phrase already in your sentence, wrapped in a link. A revision is saved before each edit, the post is read back to confirm the link landed, and any batch can be reversed from inside WordPress.
Link Whisper is a trademark of its owner. This comparison describes how each tool works, is based on public documentation, and was last checked in September 2026. If something here is wrong or out of date, tell us and we will change it.
