Terms of service
These terms are an agreement between you and SiloTree Ltd (“Silotree”, “we”) for the use of silotree.io, the free link checker, the web app and the WordPress plugin. By creating an account or using the service you accept them.
Using Silotree
- Only scan sites you own or are authorised to work on.
- Do not use the service to overload, attack or scrape third-party sites, or try to get around rate limits and plan limits.
- Keep your password safe. You are responsible for activity on your account.
Your content
Your posts remain yours. You give us permission to read and process them only to provide the service — analysing links and suggesting and inserting the ones you approve. Silotree only wraps phrases that already exist in your posts, saves a WordPress revision first and lets you undo each batch. You are responsible for reviewing the links you approve.
Plans and billing
The free plan costs nothing and needs no card, and includes writing your first 10 links into WordPress. Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly in advance and renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time with Cancel plan in Settings; your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for. Prices are shown in US dollars and may change with at least 30 days’ notice.
Paid plans are sold through Creem, our online reseller and merchant of record. Creem is the seller of your purchase: it takes the payment, charges any sales tax or VAT that applies, and issues your receipts and invoices, and its own terms of sale apply to the payment. Your use of Silotree remains under these terms.
30-day money-back guarantee. If a paid plan is not for you, email us within 30 days of your first payment and we will have it refunded in full through Creem, to the card you paid with. Links already written stay in your posts as ordinary links, or you can undo them first.
Search data and estimates
Traffic figures and estimates are guidance based on your data and stated assumptions. We do not promise rankings or traffic results.
Availability and liability
We work to keep Silotree available and accurate, but the service is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before it arose, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Ending the agreement
You can close your account at any time by deleting it from Settings. Deleting an account cancels a paid subscription straight away, rather than at the end of the period, and then deletes the account and its sites. We may suspend accounts that break these terms. Links already inserted into your posts are ordinary links and stay in place if you stop using Silotree or remove the plugin.
