Silotree vs Linkilo
A Swiss army knife against a single blade. Linkilo bundles linking with redirects, 404s and crawler logs at a low price; Silotree does internal links and asks you to keep other tools for the rest.
What Silotree is for: more readers from posts you already wrote. Clear your linking backlog this afternoon, then 10 minutes a week. No credits. Plain HTML links that stay if you cancel. Undo anything.
- Free audit, no account
- First 10 links written free

How Linkilo works
Linkilo is a premium WordPress plugin, sold from its own site rather than WordPress.org1. Links go “inside your existing post content” as ordinary links2. AI suggestions use your own OpenAI key — “you pay your AI provider directly; Linkilo never charges for AI” — and land in a review queue that remembers what you reject2. Keyword Auto Links are rules you write, with a preview before links are written3. Around them sit an orphan finder, a broken link checker, a redirection manager, crawl-log and AI-bot tracking, click analytics and cannibalisation reports1,4,5.
How Silotree works
Silotree does internal linking and nothing else, in more depth: a free audit lists every post nothing links to; suggestions come from posts you already wrote, ranked by the clicks each should earn from your Search Console data; approved links are written with a revision saved first, read back to confirm, and undone in one click. There is no API key to bring and no per-post AI cost.

Silotree is the better fit if…
- you want suggestions ranked by expected clicks, not just relevance
- you want to try it free before paying — Linkilo has no free version or trial1
- you want every batch reversible in one click, from the app or from WordPress
- you want no API keys or AI bills of any kind

|---|---|---|
| 1 site | $190 a year, or $19 a monthSolo (up to 1 site) | |

Linkilo’s prices are marked as launch pricing, down from $149, $298 and $499, and its pricing page says renewals stay at the rate you bought at1; its help pages say it does not run discounts12. AI features add your own OpenAI bill, with monthly caps you set2. On price, Linkilo is far cheaper than Silotree at every size.
Silotree’s figures are list prices in US dollars with no credits or per-link charges; the free plan audits any site and writes your first 10 links. Every plan, limit and the money-back guarantee is on the Silotree pricing page.
If any of these describe you, we would rather say so than take your money.
You want many SEO tools in one plugin
Redirects, 404 monitoring, crawl and AI-bot logs, click analytics and an MCP server come with Linkilo1. Silotree has none of them.
You build with a page builder
Linkilo works with Elementor, Divi, Bricks, Beaver, Oxygen and WPBakery, with suggestions below the builder rather than inside the canvas6. Silotree reads those posts but refuses to write into them.
Price decides it
Linkilo is $59 a year for one site, $149 for five and $279 for 25 at its current launch pricing1. Silotree is $190, $490 and $1,290.
What happens to your links, step by step.
Links Linkilo inserted are ordinary links in your posts and stay after you cancel7. Silotree counts them as already there, never removes them, and undo takes out only the links Silotree wrote.
- Keep a copy of your Auto Link rules. Linkilo documents CSV import for them but we found no export9, so note the keyword and target URL of the ones you rely on.
- Run Silotree’s free internal link audit with Linkilo still active; its links count, so the orphans listed are genuinely unlinked.
- Recreate the rules you still need in Silotree → Link rules and apply them in previewed, undoable batches of up to 25 posts.
- If you rely on Linkilo’s redirect manager or 404 monitor, replace those before deactivating it — Silotree does not do either.
Before you decide
Is Silotree a Linkilo alternative?
For the internal linking part, yes. Linkilo is a wider plugin with redirects, 404s and analytics built in, and it costs less; Silotree goes deeper on linking alone — topics and lead pages, suggestions ranked by expected clicks, and every batch reversible.
Do I need an OpenAI key for Silotree?
No. Matching by meaning is built in on every paid plan, and there are no credits or per-post charges.
Linkilo shows up in both of our roundups — the Link Whisper alternatives and the LinkBoss alternatives — priced against the others. For the plugin closest to it in approach, see Silotree vs Link Whisper.
