Find your way around Silotree
Silotree is laid out by the job you came to do. This week says what is worth doing now; each item in the sidebar holds one kind of work, and your plan, plugin and emails sit on the account menu.
Steps
Start on This week
This week, at the top of the sidebar, lists the few things worth doing now, with your Silotree Score and how it moved since the last scan. Each item opens the screen where you do it.
Add and fix links on Links
Links has three tabs. To add holds the suggested links waiting for you, with filters for unlinked and buried posts. To fix holds broken links and links through redirects. Written lists every batch written to WordPress, each with an Undo. The badge on Links counts what is waiting to add and to fix.
Look at Topics and Write next
Topics shows the groups your posts fall into by what they are about and, on its Competing posts tab, the posts splitting the same searches. Write next lists the posts worth writing: searches you show up for with no post of their own, subjects no post covers, and topics with too few posts.
See what changed on Results
Results shows what your links did: traffic, posts slipping and your Silotree Score over time. The client report, on Studio and Agency, is opened from here.
Open Structure for the deeper views
Below the main items, Structure holds the deeper views: the Site map, Posts (every post, each opening a page with its links and target keywords), Sections, Link wording and Links to other sites. Site settings holds the site’s connections, automation, the related posts block and disconnecting the site.
What you should see
To jump straight to any screen, press Ctrl K (⌘ K on a Mac) and type its name. Old names still work: “Undo history” finds Links → Written and “Link fixes” finds Links → To fix. New here? Start with approve your first links.
