Cancel your plan
Cancelling stops the next payment. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for, then your sites move to the free plan. Every finding stays readable, and every link already written stays in your posts.
Steps
Open Settings → Plan & billing
In Silotree, open Settings → Plan & billing. The Cancel plan button appears on paid plans whose subscription isn’t already ending.
Press Cancel plan
Press Cancel plan. Nothing happens yet: the button asks you to confirm.
Confirm with Yes, cancel at the end of this period
Press Yes, cancel at the end of this period. It says Cancelling… while it tells Creem.
What you should see
Settings says Your plan is cancelled. It stays active until a date, then your sites move to the free plan. No further payment is taken. After that date:
- Every link already written stays in your posts, as an ordinary link.
- Every finding stays readable, and the weekly email keeps coming.
- Writing links is limited to the free plan’s first 10, and scans read the free plan’s page limit — see plans and limits.
- Sites beyond the free plan’s one stay on your account; you can’t add another.
You can have it refunded in full — see refunds. Ask before you cancel or delete anything.
If it doesn’t work
- “There is no subscription on this account to cancel”
Your plan may be paid from another Silotree account, or already cancelled. Write to us from the address you paid with.
- “We could not cancel just now”
Try again in a minute. If it fails again, email us and we will cancel it for you.
- I cancelled in Creem’s portal instead
That ends the subscription at Creem at once, and no further payment is taken. Silotree still keeps your paid plan until the end of the period you paid for.
- I want the links taken out too
Undo their batches before you go — see write and undo batches — or choose to remove them when you uninstall the plugin.
Questions
Do my links disappear when I cancel?
No. They are ordinary links in your posts, written in your own words. Nothing is removed when you cancel, downgrade or delete your account.
Can I get a refund when I cancel?
Within 7 days of your first payment, yes, in full. After that, cancelling stops future payments but the current period is not refunded.
